From 1907 to 1996, the Gouwzee sailed as a cargo ship. The ship almost didn't exist anymore, since they wanted to demolish it in 1975. Just in the nick of time, someone saw the beautiful lines and saved the ship. The Gouwzee is a robust and comfortable sailing ship. On deck, there is a large sun deck and spacious seating area. The lower deck is spacious and has a cosy lounge.
