Thousands of lights in the dark

Dozens of impressive Tall Ships are docked in the Oranjehaven (IJ-haven) during SAIL Amsterdam 2020. Hundreds of thousands of fans are enthusiastically walking along the quays. Thousands of lights on board of the ships illuminate the vibrant heart of SAIL.

Sail along on one of the official SAIL ships and become part of this spectacular 10th edition of SAIL. The cruise is unforgettable and offers a great view of the impressive Tall Ships. The sailing heritage and hundreds of ships make one big party out of SAIL. The evening will be closed in a spectacular way. Of course, all this while enjoying some food and drinks!

Date: 12th , 13th , 14th and 15th of August, 2020

18:00 hrs      Gathering in SAIL Village. Guests check in at the counter specially reserved for your company. Coffee and tea is provided upon arrival.

19:00 hrs      The captain welcomes you personally on board of your reserved ship. Together with all official SAIL ships, you sail towards the Tall Ships in the Oranjehaven (IJ-haven). Meanwhile, small bites and drinks are served.

19:30 hrs      During the cruise, an extensive hot and cold buffet is served on board.

23:00 hrs      Enjoy a party on the water with lights, sound and ships from all over the world. Be surprised by the spectacular conclusion. Meanwhile, small bites are served.

00:00 hrs      The captain moors at SAIL Village and says goodbye to you and your company. An unforgettable, inspiring and connecting experience!


* Depending on the exact boarding time, the commencement of the package can be half an hour earlier or later than mentioned above.
