Welcome the Tall Ships Dozens of impressive Tall Ships sail towards Amsterdam during the SAIL-In on Wednesday 12 August. Sailors brave the wind high in the mast. Hundreds of thousands of fans stand along the banks enthusiastically. Together with the Tall Ships, hundreds of sailing ships, sloops and motor boats form a bustling and swirling parade from IJmuiden to the Oranjehaven (IJhaven).

Sail along on one of the official SAIL boats and wait for the spectacular SAIL-In Parade when they enter Amsterdam. On board you have a great view of the impressive Tall Ships from nearby. And of course all this while enjoying a snack and drink!

Date: 12th of August 2020

12:00 hrs      Meeting in the SAIL terminal at the Oosterdok. Coffee and tea is provided on arrival. 

13:00 hrs      The skipper welcomes you personally on board of your reserved boat. Meanwhile, lunch is served.

14:00 hrs      The Tall Ships arrive together with all ships in one long parade in Amsterdam. The SAIL-In parade: where ships, crews and visitors from all over the world come together.

15:00 hrs      In the afternoon, snacks are served on board.

16:30 hrs      The skipper moors at the SAIL Terminal and says goodbye to you and your company. An unforgettable, inspiring and connecting experience!
